On the morning of May 13, 2025, the leaders and employees of GAEA Company participated in a public forum on solid waste management under the theme “Siem Reap City, Clean Environment”.
Presided over by Mr. Hai Yang, Deputy Governor and represented by Mr. Nuon Puthera, Governor of the Siem Reap Municipality, with the participation of representatives of the UYFC, the 12 Sangkats, civil society organizations, communities, teachers, students, private companies, and many citizens of Siem Reap City.
On this occasion, Mr. Hai Yang called on His Excellency, Madam, all institutions, units, local authorities, communities, businessmen, teachers, students, and all citizens, including in this forum and at the local level, to pay attention to actively and vigorously fulfilling their duties in solid waste management by separating, packaging, storing, and releasing solid waste properly and participating in paying for solid waste collection and transportation services regularly, especially committing to implementing the 5R principles to reduce environmental impacts, including:
- Refuse, 2. Reduce,3. Reuse ,4. Recycle
5. Remind under the slogan “Let’s join forces to protect the environment of Siem Reap City.”
