On the morning of June 5, 2024, GAEA, the waste collection company in Siem Reap Province, collaborated with the Siem Reap Provincial Administration, the Provincial Department of Environment, Siem Reap City Hall, and all city communes to organize an environmental cleanup event in Siem Reap City.
This initiative was part of the celebration of World Environment Day on June 5, under the theme “Soil Quality Restoration, Ecosystem Revitalization, and Drought Resilience.” The event was held with the participation of Mr. Youn Linnar, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province, representing His Excellency Prach Sophorn, Governor of Siem Reap Province.
